he/him

I work at the intersection of architecture, art, and philosophical inquiry, creating a body of work that blurs the boundaries between disciplines, people, and the human-made and natural worlds. The work has spanned architecture, interior design, decorative art, and art, guided by a singular vision: that art and design are not merely the creation of things, but an act that shapes and is shaped by consciousness, culture, and the body politic.

I begin with the conviction that art and architecture are contested sites of negotiation — aesthetic, political, and cultural — where identity, equity, and joy are formed and reimagined. As disciplines, they function to provoke and transform. I aim to craft spaces of non-binary possibility — liminal places where we find ourselves neither “here nor there,” open to alternative forms of thought and action.

My philosophical inquiries, which explore how art and design can simultaneously manifest resistance and delight, have led to publications like JOYSPACE. Through writing, lecturing, and collaborative practice, I strive to bridge disciplines and generations, opening dialogue about what art and architecture can and should be.

I possess a deep respect for craftsmanship, material intelligence, and the tactile pleasures of well-made things. Whether engaged in the making of a building, an interior, furniture, or art, I work to manifest sensuality, clarity, and rigor. Whether in the context of creative practice or through explorations into psychedelics, I am reaching toward something broader: to democratize beauty, progress understanding, and manifest connection with one another and the planet.

I don’t see myself as an artist or an architect but rather as a cultural interlocutor, committed to a spectrum of practice that is as intellectual and ethical as it is aesthetic — a practice that insists on the right to joy and the responsibility to imagine a better world.
